G-RES Privacy Policy

Version 1.1 — effective 2 August 2026

This policy explains how Terracode Analytics handles personal information in connection with G-RES.

Information handled

We may handle account identity and contact details, authentication records, project metadata, uploaded survey and supporting data, location information, prompts and AI responses, reports, exports, device and security logs, and support communications.

Purposes and legal bases

Information is used to authenticate users, provide and secure G-RES, process requested projects, generate outputs, support users, prevent misuse, maintain reliability and comply with law. Where UK or EU law applies, legal bases may include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent where required.

Service providers and international processing

Necessary information may be processed by contracted cloud, authentication, AI, monitoring and support providers, including Google Cloud and Firebase. Processing may occur outside your country with applicable contractual and technical safeguards.

Where your project data is stored

Your projects, survey data and processing results are held in your browser's local storage on each device you use.

Where account backup is enabled, a copy of your project data — including imported survey readings, inversion results, reference documents and reports — is also stored in Google Cloud Storage in the us-central1 region, within the Terracode Analytics Google Cloud project, so that your projects are available when you sign in on another device or browser. This copy is stored under your account identifier and is accessible only to your authenticated account; access is authorised from your verified sign-in session and never from any value supplied by the browser. Stored copies are encrypted at rest by Google Cloud, prior versions are retained for up to 30 days to allow recovery, and deleting a project removes the stored copy.

Account backup can be turned off in the application, in which case your projects remain on the device where they were created and are not copied to the cloud.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, backup, audit, disputes and legal obligations. We apply access controls, authenticated APIs, encryption provided by cloud services, request limits and operational logging, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Requests may be subject to identity checks and lawful retention exceptions. Contact contact@terracodeanalytics.com.

Updates

Material policy updates will be reflected in G-RES and may require renewed acceptance.
